Hi! I'm Elizabeth
I’m a 22-year-old advocate for women’s emotional discovery and empowerment.
My work is about helping women break out of the molds that shaped them and reconnect with who they truly are underneath it all. So many women feel disconnected from themselves, like they’re living as a version of who they should be instead of who they actually are.
I believe it is entirely possible to become that version of yourself, the one you feel on the inside. And I’m committed to helping as many women as possible do exactly that.
I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Leadership Studies, where I developed a deep understanding of the mind, behavior, and what it takes to step forward, stand out, and create meaningful change.
My CAPTIVE Coaching & Empowerment Story: How I got here
During the summer of 2024, I became obsessed with the idea of my career being something that fulfilled me, rather than just paid the bills. I spent weeks reading and making some personal discoveries about myself. Specifically, writing out my passions, what I was good at, and what I would like to do for work in a perfect world. I came up with a rough idea: a mix of writer, teacher, life coach, and speaker. And naturally, I sat there wondering what type of job could possibly encapsulate all these things and still make me enough money to survive in this economy. Everyone thought I was crazy, but I kept saying “trust the process.”

I met Dave at a family friend's dinner during the same summer. I remember he was talking about his podcast, which he had started, and as I became more intrigued by the genre (women’s empowerment and emotional discovery), I had to ask, “Is it fulfilling?”

His eyes lit up with a “yes!” And I think at that moment I knew I had to learn more from him. After the dinner, we got to talking, and I asked him to record a podcast with my brother and I the next day. That podcast lasted three hours, and during it, we discovered we were both exactly who we had been looking for. He ran a company that encapsulated all of the parts of my dream job (and more!), and he was looking for someone to run it alongside him. Talk about fate, right?

So, over the past couple of years, I have grown with him and this company, fully immersing myself in the passion of helping other women become the strong, emotionally free beings they were meant to be, and step by step removing the mold the patriarchy built into us. Through learning about personal discovery coaching, I have become the woman I have always felt I could be on the inside, and it has truly been the most freeing experience of my life. Connecting with other women, hearing their stories, and stepping into their shoes to guide them toward emotional freedom is truly the most fulfilled I have ever felt in my life.

CAPTIVE Coaching and Empowerment is a life-changing company, and I am immensely proud not only to be working for such a great cause but also to work with a phenomenal, down-to-earth man to enact real change for the good-hearted, pure-spirited women in the world. I am consistently excited to wake up each day and dive deeper into my career, all thanks to David, who one day decided he was tired of women living in a state of misalignment within themselves and had the courage to do something about it.
